Job summary

UNC Health Care's Rex Wellness Center Cary is seeking a per diem wellness program instructor to assess the population served, teach classes, and coordinate services with the wellness team.

This role offers 3 hours per week, onsite in Cary, NC, with a pay range of $19.12–$27.17 per hour. A Bachelor's degree is preferred; CPR certification is required; HS diploma with 1 year related experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and monitors the physical condition of population to be served.
• Teaches classes and supervises exercise programs based on protocol to ensure safety.
• Provides suitable environment through facility checks.
• Disseminates educational materials to participants.
• Coordinates instruction with other instructors through training, in-service and meetings.
• Provides member service through regular interaction with members.
