Job summary

UNC Health Rex Wellness Center Knightdale is seeking a per diem massage therapist to provide body work therapy to clients in alignment with training and certification. You will report to the Massage Program Coordinator and contribute to ongoing wellness initiatives onsite in Knightdale, NC.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited massage program.
• Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Body Work Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year massage therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides body work therapy to clients within training scope.
• Explain procedures to clients, maintain confidentiality, and report issues.
• Perform health history and assess contraindications prior to sessions.
• Assist in marketing and workshops to promote the massage program.
• Develop individualized sessions based on client history and feedback.
