Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Massage program.
• Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Body Work Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One (1) year massage therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeps work areas clean before/after use and maintains supplies; follows universal health care protocol.
• Explains procedures to clients with respect to individual needs; maintains confidentiality.
• Performs health history and notes precautions/contraindications; ensures continuity of care.
• Supports development of Wellness Center through workshops, promotions, and events.
• Delivers safe, effective body work; tailors sessions based on client input and feedback.
