Job summary

The YMCA of Southwest Florida is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to lead health enhancement activities, oversee the wellness center, and supervise staff and instructors to ensure high-quality, safe programming.

Responsibilities include scheduling group exercise classes, maintaining certifications, and coordinating budgets while engaging members and the community to promote participation and wellness.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• At least 1 year of experience in fitness.
• Background checks with Florida requirements completed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise wellness staff and group exercise instructors.
• Create and update monthly group exercise schedules.
• Ensure safety and adherence to industry standards in all classes.
• Oversee payroll for Wellness staff.
• Promote classes and engage members to boost participation.
