Job summary

The YMCA in Florida seeks a part-time Wellness Coordinator to engage and retain members through personalized wellness services, orientations, and fitness programs. Responsibilities include assessments, programming, and ensuring member safety and satisfaction.

You will contribute to branch goals, lead small-group activities, and participate in required trainings (CPR/First Aid, Daxko). The role supports community health and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing wellness programs for individuals or groups.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications are required.
• Personal training certification is preferred within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Engage and retain members through wellness services and orientations.
• Provide hands-on wellness services including fitness assessments and personal training.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and quality of member experience.
• Maintain attendance records and participate in annual trainings.
