Job summary

Canyon Ranch Austin, opening Fall 2026, seeks an experienced Groundskeeper to maintain high-end outdoor spaces across the resort. You will manage planting beds, turf, irrigation systems, and carpentry-related outdoor repairs to uphold premium guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6+ years in groundskeeping or landscaping, strong hands-on irrigation knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Certifications in irrigation/pesticide work are a plus; an opportunity for leadership and professional

Qualifications

4–6+ years of progressive groundskeeping, landscaping, or horticulture operations experience.
Hands-on irrigation, landscape equipment operation, and basic construction/carpentry skills.
Licenses and certifications: irrigation and pesticide applicator licenses highly valued; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced grounds maintenance, including planting, pruning, irrigation troubleshooting, and landscape care to ensure outdoor environments meet high standards.
Maintain planting beds, turf, and landscape features while elevating guest experience.
Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and implement pest management, fertilization, and seasonal care.
Lead and support advanced grounds operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Coordinate repairs to outdoor structures and collaborate with Facilities or vendors on larger projects.
