Job summary

Yora Nordic Spa in Connecticut is launching its founding Front Desk team for an immersive guest journey built on wellness, warmth and hospitality. The Front Desk Supervisor will lead daily operations, coach staff, and ensure seamless check-in, payments and guest communications as we prepare for opening in November 2026.

This on-site, full-time role requires 2–4 years of guest-service experience, a hands-on leadership style, and a genuine passion for wellness.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in wellness, premium guest service or similar guest-focused environment.
• Previous supervisory or shift-leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to lead by example while remaining actively involved in guest service.
• Strong understanding of guest-journey management and service recovery.
• Experience with reservation, property-management, POS or workforce-management systems.
• Strong communication, coaching, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Calm, confident decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in wellness and creating meaningful guest connections.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Desk team in creating warm, genuine and memorable guest experiences during each shift.
• Coordinate daily Front Desk operations, shift priorities, guest flow and team deployment.
• Ensure reservations, check-in, payments, locker assignments and guest communications are accurate.
• Support opening, closing, cash-handling and daily procedures.
• Monitor wait times, staffing and guest flow and remove barriers to the guest journey.
• Provide real-time coaching, feedback and hands-on support to Front Desk team members.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new Front Desk staff.
• Partner with spa teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end guest journey.
