Job summary

The Jewish Renaissance Foundation in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a Wellness Program Coordinator to support the Family Assistance Center, coordinate the My Choice Store, manage data tracking in EmpowOR, and lead community outreach to improve access to nutritious food.

You will plan wellness programming, maintain food stock, collaborate with nursing and social work staff, and conduct health and wellness workshops while ensuring confidentiality under HIPAA and safeguarding participant data.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or 4 years' experience in social services.
• Knowledge of healthy eating and cooking.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience assessing and documenting needs for participants in emergencies.
• Compassionate, well-organized with good facilitation and communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or Asian-Indian languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Wellness Programming and Services planning and execution.
• Coordinate operation of My Choice Store.
• Build and maintain community partnerships focused on wellness.
• Record, enter, and report data in EmpowOR.
• Maintain adequate food stock for distribution to families.
• Assist with collaboration to increase food security and wellness.
• Coordinate health workshops and classes with various disciplines.
• Convey JRF values and ensure confidentiality per HIPAA.
