Job summary

Collaborative Support Programs of NJ Inc. in Jersey City is seeking a full-time Wellness Center Manager to oversee operations at the center, manage a team of mentors and a Resource Specialist, and ensure a safe, supportive space for adults facing life challenges.

Under the Regional Coordinator, you will lead community outreach, develop partnerships, coordinate referrals and life-skills workshops, and monitor center performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mental health discipline preferred; or a high school diploma with 2+ years related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in MS Office products as well as general computer literacy.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written; attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Track record of engagement and passion for building the community.
• Knowledge of wellness, the mental health system and community resources.
• Ability to effectively communicate and relate to a diverse population in a multicultural environment.
• Proven ability to engage and support individuals with mental health diagnoses using empathy, professionalism, and trauma-informed practices.
• Bilingual skills a plus!
• MUST have a valid NJ Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring individuals who use their personal experience with mental health diagnoses or substance use to inspire, support, and empower others.

CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit is looking for a full-time Wellness Center Manager in Jersey City. Under the direction of the Regional Coordinator, the Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing operations and activities at the center including a team of mentors and a Resource Specialist. Wellness Centers are a safe and supportive place for adults with life struggles to meet and get support.
