Job summary

The Greater Beverly YMCA is seeking a part-time Fitness Floor Staff in Beverly, MA. You will greet members, demonstrate exercises and safe equipment use, and promote programs in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include giving tours to prospective members, answering questions, and helping maintain a clean, safe fitness area while upholding the YMCA’s inclusive, energetic culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Interest in fitness, exercise science, personal training, or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and program participants in a welcoming, energetic manner.
• Keep equipment clean and safe; demonstrate exercises and proper technique.
• Promote fitness programs and assist with program sign-ups.
• Give tours to prospective members and answer questions about offerings.
• Support a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all ages and abilities.
