Job summary

North Shore YMCA in Ipswich, MA is seeking a part-time Fitness Floor Staff to support members and program participants in a welcoming, energized environment. You’ll greet members, monitor equipment, demonstrate exercises, and promote fitness programs.

Ideal candidates are 18+, CPR/First Aid certified, and eager to help others stay active. Schedule includes Friday 4pm–9pm and Sunday 8am–1pm, with YMCA membership perks and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Availability on scheduled evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and assist program participants.
• Keep gym equipment clean and safe.
• Demonstrate exercises and machines to users.
• Promote fitness programs and conduct tours for prospective members.
• Answer questions and help members feel supported.
