Job summary

Leisure Sports Wellness Department is seeking a Wellness Assistant to support the Wellness and Group Fitness Directors in daily operations, program development, and member engagement. The role ensures cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and timely communication, while coordinating services with trainers and vendors.

The candidate should be organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks with initiative, accuracy, and accountability in a busy club environment.

Qualifications

• Kinesiology, exercise science, personal training, group fitness, and/or body mechanics background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 3-4 daily gym walkthroughs to assess cleanliness, organization, safety, and equipment condition.
• Conduct fitness floor walkthroughs to identify equipment damage, inventory shortages, and misplaced accessories.
• Monitor and respond to member inquiries via [e-mail] and other channels.
• Coordinate with trainers to assign and schedule HFCs based on member needs and trainer availability.
• Maintain organized tracking systems for equipment inventory and maintenance history.
