Job summary

Canyon Ranch Austin is hiring for banquet and events support roles to ensure exceptional guest experiences. The team sets up and maintains spaces, coordinates with servers, and handles equipment and guest requests to support seamless events.

Both part-time and full-time positions are available with flexible scheduling. The role requires physical stamina, up to 50 lbs lifting, and may require a Food Handler’s certificate depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm, professionalism, and warm hospitality in guest interactions.
• Part-time and full-time positions available with flexible scheduling.
• Three to twelve months of hotel, food & beverage, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Regular lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to stay active during shifts.
• Food Handler’s certification may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and event venues per event orders and floor plans.
• Arrange and position tables, chairs, linens, and audiovisual equipment.
• Break down and reset event spaces efficiently after functions.
• Transport, handle, and store banquet equipment safely.
• Assist servers and event staff with room refreshes, water stations, and guest requests.
• Follow banquet event orders accurately and communicate setup changes to supervisors.
