Job summary

Heritage Inn in Statesboro is seeking a Full Time Life Enrichment Director for Day shift to oversee a comprehensive wellness program for residents. You will lead, implement, and evaluate activities across seven wellness dimensions, while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team and volunteers.

The role requires two years in life enrichment or related fields, plus certification. The organization offers strong leadership support, competitive benefits, and opportunities to impact resident

Qualifications

• Qualified licensed or certified recreation specialist.
• Two years’ experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years; at least one year full-time in a Life Enrichment program within a health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and direct a Life Enrichment program reflecting the Seven Dimensions of Wellness.
• Promote ongoing delivery of life enrichment activities including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Develop and manage a volunteer program with screening, orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Participate in IDT meetings and resident care conferences as required.
• Coordinate delivery of life enrichment activities with other departments.
• Maintain inter-departmental communication and adhere to the department budget.
