Job summary

Civitas Senior Living in Colorado Springs seeks a Wellness Director/Director of Nursing to lead a caregiving team, conduct assessments, and coordinate person-centered care. You will manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare protocols, and liaise with physicians and vendors to support residents' independence and wellbeing.

Requirements include at least 2 years in a similar role and an active LVN/LPN or RN license in CO. Generous PTO is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Wellness Director, Director of Nursing, or equivalent role.
• Active LVN/LPN or RN license in Colorado.
• Strong customer service and hospitality skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a full caregiving team through recruiting, mentoring, and coaching.

Wellness Director / Director of Nursing Job Profile:

• Leadership Excellence: Maintain, manage, and inspire a full team through recruiting, interviewing, mentoring, and coaching.
• Resident-Centric Care: Perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate individualized care plans, and provide empathetic, personalized care.
• Effective Collaboration: Liaise seamlessly with internal staff, third-party vendors, and medical professionals.
• Quality Assurance: Lead staff meetings, manage service agreements, update physician order sheets, and assure compliance with healthcare protocols.
• Continuous Oversight: Ensure proper medication management, complete timely audits, handle incident reporting, and conduct investigations.

Job Requirements: Your Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Wellness Director, Director of Nursing, or equivalent, preferably in senior care.
• Licensure: Active LVN/LPN or RN license in the state.
