Compass Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Services Director in Oregon to lead the Wellness Department for elder care communities. The role requires RN licensure, experience in assisted living/m memory care, and strong leadership and collaboration with clinical and care teams.

You will manage staffing, training, schedules, policy enforcement, and quality assurance while coordinating care with external providers. A proactive, compliant, patient-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and in good standing with state authority.
• Experience in Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.
• Ability to lead a high-functioning team and ensure resident safety and satisfaction.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Wellness Department operations and staff.
• Hire, train, supervise, and assign duties to Wellness team members.
• Develop staffing schedules compliant with state guidelines.
• Enforce policies and assist with disciplinary actions as needed.
• Coordinate elder care plans from move-in to move-out and ensure assessments comply with state regulations.
• Lead Quality Assurance initiatives and track incidents for corrective actions.
• Perform licensed nurse tasks and med passes as allowed by state law.
• Coordinate care with third-party providers (therapy, home health, hospice).
• Supervise medication administration and self-administration programs as required.
• May act in the Administrator’s absence.
• Align Wellness Department goals with financial budgets and state regulations.
• Maintain compliance with state Nurse Practice Acts and regulatory processes.
• Pass background checks as required.
