Job summary

Bridge Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Wellness Director to oversee clinical services and resident wellness in our Maine community. You will lead care coordination, staff supervision, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a supportive environment for residents and teammates.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Senior Living or equivalent, state RN eligibility, and 3+ years as a Director of Nursing in senior living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience in Senior Living.
• RN certification required by state regulations.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• At least 3 years of work experience as a Director of Nursing in the senior living industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise care and services to Residents to achieve clinical, emotional, and wellness outcomes.
• Establish and monitor goals and expectations for all clinical departments.
• Develop budgets, re-forecasts, and staffing plans.
• Oversee Quality Improvement, Safety, Infection, Disaster and Environmental Control Programs.
• Oversee admission and ongoing Resident assessment and care planning.
• Manage surveys and inspections by government agencies.
• Handle hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, coaching, and disciplinary actions.

Wellness Director Job Summary:

The Wellness Director is responsible for the coordination and supervision of care and services to Residents to achieve desired clinical, emotional and wellness outcomes in accordance with federal, state, local, company standards and established policies and procedures.

• Establish and monitor goals and expectations for all clinical departments.
• Develop departmental budgets, re-forecasts and staffing plans.
• Develop, implement and monitor the Quality Improvement, Safety, Infection, Disaster and Environmental Control Programs.
• Participate in and oversee the admission and on-going Resident assessment and care planning process.
• Oversee surveys and inspections made by government agencies.
• Complete appropriate forms, reports, evaluations, and studies.
• Conduct clinical staff supervisory responsibilities including hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, coaching, monitoring, counseling, discipline and terminations
