Job summary

Meadow Creek Village is seeking a Wellness Director (Health Services) to lead the nursing team and collaborate with community leadership to meet residents’ comprehensive needs.

The role requires an active LPN license, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Competitive salary and Cascade Living benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.

Responsibilities

• Make a significant contribution to residents' quality of life by maintaining high standards of care and consistency.
• Review routines, events calendar, staff schedules, and coordinate resident appointments, treatments, or procedures.
• Assist with new resident orientation and transition into the community.
• Develop, implement and update service plans.
• Make daily rounds to observe residents' physical and emotional status.
• Coordinate admission and discharge of residents.
• Evaluate employee performance and participate in recruiting, hiring and training.
• Ensure documentation of resident status and communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock and checked at shift change.
• Demonstrate organizational time-management skills.

Job description

As the Wellness Director (Health Services) at Meadow Creek Village, you’re the clinical leader and oversee the nursing team. It’s your responsibility to guide and encourage staff and collaborate with other leaders in the community to meet the comprehensive needs of our residents.

What we look for in a Wellness Director:

• Maintains a current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner

• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families

• Demonstrate active listening techniques, gain support by treating others with dignity and respect

• Strong customer service skills with ability to problem solve

• Work with the dining room manager to identify dietary needs and develop appropriate dietary plans

• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day

• Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekend

What you can expect to do as a Wellness Director:

Position Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered Practical Nursing License

$80,000 – $90,000/annually
*Depending on Experience
