Job summary

Bridge Senior Living in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Wellness Director to coordinate and supervise care and services for Residents to achieve clinical, emotional and wellness outcomes. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Senior Living, RN or LPN eligibility per state regulations, and First Aid/CPR certification with at least 3 years as a Director of Nursing in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise care and services to Residents to achieve clinical, emotional and wellness outcomes.
• Establish and monitor goals for clinical departments.
• Develop departmental budgets, re-forecasts and staffing plans.
• Oversee quality, safety and infection control programs.
• Participate in admission, assessment and care planning processes.
• Direct supervisory activities including hiring, orientation, training and scheduling.

Wellness Director Job Summary:

The Wellness Directoris responsible for the coordination and supervision of care and services to Residents to achieve desired clinical, emotional and wellness outcomes in accordance with federal, state, local, company standards and established policies and procedures.

• Establish and monitor goals and expectations for all clinical departments.
• Develop departmental budgets, re-forecasts and staffing plans.
• Develop, implement and monitor the Quality Improvement, Safety, Infection, Disaster and Environmental Control Programs.
• Participate in and oversee the admission and on-going Resident assessment and care planning process.
• Oversee surveys and inspections made by government agencies.
• Complete appropriate forms, reports, evaluations, and studies.
• Conduct clinical staff supervisory responsibilities including hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, coaching, monitoring, counseling, discipline and terminations
