Job summary

Vitality Living seeks a Wellness Director for the Oasis at Coral Reef Community in Miami, FL. You will directly supervise wellness staff, oversee care plans, and coordinate with families to ensure compassionate, resident-centered care.

The role requires an LPN/LVN or RN license and at least 2 years of Director experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care, plus strong leadership and communication skills. Join a team committed to excellence in elder care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise wellness staff and handle recruitment, evaluation, and training.
• Complete nursing assessments and resident evaluations; review care plans with families.
• Oversee care plan establishment and physician orders; conduct plan reviews with families.
• Monitor MAR/eMAR and ensure accurate resident data tracking; coordinate with home health and hospice.
• Occasionally fulfill charge nurse duties; collaborate with Executive and Sales Directors on move-ins.

As a Vitality Living Wellness Director, you will impact lives by:

• Directly supervise wellness staff with respect to recruiting, hiring, evaluating, training, counseling, etc.
• Complete Nursing Assessments, auxiliary evaluations of residents, and other required or requested evaluations
• Oversee establishment of new residents’ care plans and physician orders and conduct plan reviews with families on a regular basis
• Monitor and audit MAR and eMAR and oversee the timely and accurate tracking of resident data
• Coordinate services with home health, hospice, and other agencies.
• Occasionally fulfill charge nurse duties in order to evaluate efficiencies, systems and resident care.
• Collaborate with the Executive and Sales Directors on coordinating move-ins.
