Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Orlando, FL is seeking a Wellness Coordinator - LPN to support Resident Services, coordinating personal care, medications, and staff training on a day-to-day basis under the Wellness Director.

The ideal candidate is a licensed practical nurse with 3+ years in assisted living or nursing homes, strong organizational skills, and proven supervision abilities, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have exceptional organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize daily tasks to accommodate fluctuating needs of residents and the community.
• Must have strong documentation skills.
• Must have experience in training and staff development.
• Must have the ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• The Wellness Coordinator - LPN works closely under the direction of the Wellness Director to assure Resident Services including coordination and supervision of personal care, medication services, staff training, and supervision are completed on a day-to-day basis.
• Manages the day to day clinical operations of the community under the supervision of the Wellness Director.

• Must be a LPN in good standing and meet all State health requirements.


• Experience 3+ years in Assisted Living and/or Nursing Home.


• Knowledgeable of State and local rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing.


• Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting.
