Job summary

Saratoga Regional YMCA seeks a Health & Wellness Lead to manage daily wellness operations and support the fitness center team. You will greet members, respond to health seekers, and foster connections using the Y voice. This role blends leadership with hands-on wellness delivery, including training, programming, and floor support.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, community impact, and ensuring a welcoming, well-run environment that drives member engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications required.
• Bloodborne Pathogens and Child Abuse Prevention training within 60 days of hire.
• Previous experience with diverse populations preferred.
• Nationally recognized personal trainer certification and/or group exercise certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily wellness operations in partnership with the Branch Director.
• Coordinate wellness team efforts and address facility needs.
• Develop and implement programs aligned with YMCA goals.
• Own select revenue-generating wellness programs and track participation.
• Organize wellness events to promote community health.
• Lead staffing and orientations for Fitness Center.
