Job summary

Saratoga Regional YMCA is seeking a Health & Wellness Lead to help run the Fitness Center with a focus on member engagement and a welcoming environment. You will balance leadership duties with hands-on wellness delivery, including personal training, group training, and floor support.

The role blends administrative responsibilities with direct service, program development, and revenue-driven initiatives. Full-time staff receive comprehensive benefits and a strong commitment to community health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications; Bloodborne Pathogens and Child Abuse Prevention training within 60 days of hire date.
• Previous experience with diverse populations preferred.
• Nationally recognized personal trainer certification and/or group exercise certification.

Responsibilities

• Support daily wellness operations in partnership with the Branch Director.
• Address facility needs and assist with coordinating wellness team efforts.
• Assist design and implement new programs addressing member needs and YMCA goals.
• Own select revenue-generating wellness programs, track participation and growth, ensure high-quality delivery.
• Organize wellness events and initiatives to promote community health.
• Provide leadership and support to branch staff.
• Attend Health and Wellness Association Wide team meetings.
