Job summary

Crossroads YMCA is seeking a Wellness Coach I to support members in achieving health and well-being goals. You will coach behavior change, provide wellness guidance, and connect members with group exercise communities while maintaining safety and program standards.

The role emphasizes building relationships with diverse members, staying current with wellness trends, and supporting annual campaigns as needed. Minimum age 16 and relevant certifications required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• CPR/AED & First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• New Employee Orientation required within 30 days of hire.
• Foundations of Strength & Conditioning training to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coach members toward personal health goals and track progress.
• Answer member questions to support healthy living goals.
• Build authentic relationships and connect members to group exercise communities.
• Utilize wellness tools and resources to educate members about programs.
• May conduct post-enrollment interviews to understand well-being goals and needs.
• Maintain equipment and follow YMCA safety policies.
