Job summary

Crossroads YMCA is seeking a Wellness Coach to inspire and guide members toward healthier lifestyles. You will coach individuals, answer questions, and provide general wellness information in a welcoming environment.

You’ll help connect members with programs, resources, and group activities, while maintaining equipment and safety standards. You will build relationships, stay current on wellness trends, and participate in staff trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in wellness knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coach members in support of personal health and wellness goals.
• Check in with members regularly and encourage progress.
• Build authentic relationships and create a welcoming environment.
• Help members connect with YMCA programs and resources.
• Maintain wellness equipment and adhere to safety standards.
• Attend trainings and team meetings as required.
• Support fundraising activities and other duties as assigned.
