The People Concern in Los Angeles seeks a Wellness Center Program Manager to oversee the 1301-DT Wellness program at our Wellness Center. You will report to the Program Director and supervise clinicians and case managers, ensuring services meet contract, funder, and agency standards.

This role combines administrative oversight with clinical supervision, intake coordination, and collaboration with center leadership to improve client outcomes and maintain program quality.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited university.
• Valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences licensure.
• Minimum 1000 clinical hours toward licensure.
• LPS designation to participate in crisis management and 5150 holds.
• Willingness to supervise interns and Masters-Level staff.
• Strong clinical review, training, and team-building skills.
• Trauma-informed care knowledge; housing first and harm reduction mindset.
• Valid California driver’s license with reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead crisis management including initiating 5150 holds and crisis response.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate direct service staff.
• Supervise Masters-level staff and supervise interns as Field Instructor.
• Oversee administrative aspects of DMH-funded contracts and billing.
• Complete required reporting to funders per contract requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation and data in agency records and databases.
• Provide individual and team supervision and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate staff orientation, training, and audit readiness.
• Represent the agency at funding partner and collaborative meetings.
