Job summary

The People Concern seeks a Clinician to join the 1301-DT Wellness program in Santa Monica. You will work onsite at the Annenberg Access Center, delivering psychotherapy to adults with severe mental illness within housing facilities, and coordinating mental health and recovery services to promote housing stability and community integration.

Qualifications

• MSW, MFT, or PCC registration in good standing.
• Outstanding clinical and team-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and database applications.
• Detail oriented with strong time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Able to learn quickly and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and implement mental health and recovery support services with individual members.
• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy and document services using DMH and Medi-Cal guidelines.
• Develop effective, trusting relationships with members to facilitate independence and improved health.
• Collaborate with each member to develop their individual service plan; review and update it upon completion of goals.
• Assist management and other Clinicians with program evaluation and modification for future program improvements and growth.
• Assist members with daily activities, socialization, health maintenance, and recovery progress.
• Work with Kensington Campus staff, participate in weekly staff meetings and trainings.
• Provide crisis intervention services.
• Assist in crisis interventions, including overnight and weekend After Hours Emergency Line.
