Job summary

Bay Area Community Services in Hayward, CA seeks a Hedco Program Supervisor to lead a team delivering consumer-centered services to homeless, aging, and behavioral health clients while connecting them to community resources.

The role manages administrative, fiscal, and quality improvement functions, ensuring program compliance with funders and strong collaboration with the Hedco Wellness Center and community partners.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required, BA preferred in a related field.
• Three years of managing teams and progressive administrative, direct service, and leadership skills and experience in the social service field.
• Two years’ experience in behavioral health, rapid rehousing, temporary housing, permanent supportive housing, or shelter services.
• Experience with Coordinated Entry System (CES) and HMIS , Medi-Cal and/or CalAIM
• Demonstrated capacity leading diverse and multi-disciplinary teams toward a common goal required.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients where they are to implement consumer-centered services that are needs-driven, strengths-based and culturally relevant.
• Manage flow of referrals, intakes, and discharges of participants and ensures accessibility and welcoming of all people.
• Responsible for the revene and expense for the Wellness Center Program.
• Be an available and engaged manager, supervise staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. If applicable, provide individual and group supervision to interns collecting clinical experience and hours for licensure in their chosen field.
• Hold dierect services teams accountable to providing highest quality services to clients.
• Constantly challenge the status quo and look for opportunities for continuous quality improvement and implement systems for CQI.
• Assure that services are provided in compliance with all funders, including documentation, grant management, presentations, and reports.
• Communicate effectively and conscientiously utilizing strength-based language and philosophy throughout all aspects of program management and supervision.
• Participate in the delivery and attendance at trainings for the purposes of agency, professional, and personal development.
• Consistently assessing program activities and facilties for potential risks and taking steps to address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with program manager, property management and partners operating out of the Hedco location.
• Other duties as assigned.
