The People Concern is seeking an HSSP Assistant Director to oversee housing support services for adults in PSH programs in the Westside area. You will supervise clinical staff, ensure contract compliance, and coordinate across departments to maximize service quality.

This role requires a Master’s in a related field and California licensure preference, with a mix of field and office work in a hybrid setting. The team emphasizes trauma-informed, person-centered care and collaboration with partners.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in Social Welfare or related field; licensure preferred.
• Valid CA Driver’s License with good driving record.
• 4+ years of experience in mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Strong knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation and requirements.
• Outstanding clinical review and supervision skills.
• Experience with training, project management and team-building.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor administrative aspects of HSSP contracts, including billing and outcomes.
• Attend meetings, respond to emails, build relationships on behalf of Director and staff.
• Represent agency interests at DMH meetings and county-wide meetings.
• Ensure productivity goals with a minimum of direct service time.
• Coordinate clinical services with outside agencies, partners, and funders.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Billing to ensure contract compliance.
• Provide individual and team supervision and evaluations for staff.
• Assist in recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of direct service staff.
• Ensure staff orientation, training and audit readiness for clinical contracts.
• Complete required reporting to LA County DMH.
• Support psychiatry needs: data collection, invoicing, reporting.
• Support the HSSP Intern Program as needed.
• Assist in crisis interventions and on-call duties.
