The role you’ll contribute:

The Wellness Center Manager is responsible for the overall performance and operations of the Wellness Center. Manages the business aspects of the Wellness Center and assists the director with implementing the vision and strategic direction of the business. Creates strategies and fosters a team culture aligned with the CREATION Life philosophy and consistently delivers world-class customer service.

• Greets members and staff with exemplary service, a smile, and empathy. Circulates through the club to maintain a friendly, open, and helpful relationship with all staff and members, and to identify issues, concerns, and problems. Provides leadership that encourages an environment of creativity, friendliness, customer service, and positive staff-to-member interactions.
• Assists with budget development for the department and provides recommendations to the director.
• Identifies and utilizes current member interests and industry market trends; offers programs that respond to member and staff recommendations. Maintains current industry knowledge by attending national conventions and trade shows.
• Oversees and assists in cleaning and maintaining a safe environment in the wellness center at all times. Implements a system for weekly inspections of all areas and reports needs immediately to ensure minimal downtime.
• Oversees staff training and the new hire process by creating and initiating formal training programs. Evaluates staff progress and suggests improvements quarterly.

Qualifications:

The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years of work experience required
• 3+ years of leadership experience required

Preferred qualifications:

• 2+ years in a health club environment (preferred)
• Nationally recognized certification in Health and Fitness (preferred)
