Job summary

Armed Services YMCA El Paso is seeking a Fitness and Programs Supervisor to oversee Wellness Center activities, guide classes and programs, and communicate the latest health options to members while modeling the ASYMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

You will participate in trainings and staff meetings, supervise members during exercise, answer questions about classes and equipment, and help maintain clean, safe facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in organized sports preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work mornings/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fitness and program activities in the Wellness Center.
• Answer member questions about classes, equipment, and programs.
• Lead fitness and sports activities as needed.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are clean and secured.
• Attend trainings, events, and staff meetings.
