The Schenectady YMCA is seeking a dynamic, full-time Wellness Coordinator to plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate programs within the Wellness Center. The role involves staff supervision, scheduling, and training, while building authentic member relationships and promoting wellness activities.

Qualified candidates should have a BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience, two years in the wellness field, supervisory experience preferred, and current CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.

Formación

• Two years of prior experience in the wellness field or related field.
• Current nationally recognized Personal Trainer, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating Wellness programs.
• Supervise the wellness center staff and facilities.
• Schedule staff and provide orientation and training to new hires.
• Assist with inventory and maintenance of Wellness equipment.
• Promote Wellness Center usage and participant engagement.
• Support hiring and evaluation of wellness staff.
• Follow CDYMCA policies and respond to emergencies.
