Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina Wellness Center is seeking motivated MUSC students to join as Health and Wellness Ambassadors. The role focuses on greeting members, delivering friendly service, processing guest passes and memberships, and guiding tours to promote campus wellness.

You will support safety and cleanliness, assist in cardio and weight room areas, and participate in required trainings including First Aid and CPR/AED.

Qualifications

• Greeting members at the desk and delivering friendly service.
• Assisting with wellness culture by modeling healthy behaviors and guiding tours.
• Handling guest passes and memberships through the POS system.
• Upholding safety and cleaning policies and assisting in equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Greet members at the member services desk; provide helpful, friendly service.
• Assist in promoting wellness by role modeling healthy behaviors and giving tours.
• Process POS transactions for guest passes and memberships; input into the system.
• Maintain lobby area cleanliness and safety; coordinate with housekeeping as needed.
• Answer member questions and assist participants in cardio, weight room, and other fitness areas.
• Provide new member equipment instruction as needed; participate in required training.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and other duties as required.
