Job summary

Playbook is seeking a Senior Wellness Operations Manager to transform our campus wellness spaces into magnetic destinations. You’ll lead fitness and hospitality programs, manage a multi-space environment, and ensure every interaction inspires vitality and recovery.

In this role you’ll drive utilization, mentor Hosts, collaborate across Sales, Marketing and operations, and own the guest experience from check-in to post-visit. This position requires hospitality instincts and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing fitness or wellness center operations at large campuses or similar spaces.
• 2+ years of planning tenant engagement programs and on-site activations.
• Comfortable preparing client-facing meeting agendas, presentations, and communications.
• Current group fitness certification from ACE/AFAA/NASM/ACSM or equivalent.
• Experience overseeing multiple service lines (fitness, events, hospitality, wellness).
• Strong utilization planning, staffing, and resource management skills.
• Able to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational heartbeat of spaces including fitness centers, pools, and more.
• Drive space utilization, staffing schedules, and resource management.
• Guide and grow a high-performing team of Hosts.
• Act as the steady owner during high-stakes moments to protect guest experience.
• Collaborate across functions to align programming with brand standards.
• Ensure behind-the-scenes operational excellence and precise space resets.
• Use audits and guest feedback to continuously evolve service.
