The YMCA of Greater Hartford is seeking a Wellness Attendant to manage fitness center services and deliver high-quality experiences for members and guests in Hartford, CT. The role reports to the Wellness Director and supports the Wellness Department daily.

Responsibilities include member engagement, safety enforcement, and ensuring equipment is clean and functional. The position requires CPR/First Aid/AED within 30 days of hire and reliable attendance for early morning shifts.

Competenze

• The candidate must have working knowledge of all principles of health and fitness.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current Community CPR, First Aid, & AED required within 30 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain high levels of customer service with members and guests.
• Make member engagement calls to connect/reconnect members to services.
• Warmly greet members and anticipate their needs.
• Actively listen to members and respond promptly and appropriately.
• Empower members to develop confidence and self-motivation.
• Maintain cleanliness and report equipment in need of repair.
