Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking a part-time health and wellness professional to help members of all ages achieve total well-being through fun and engaging strategies.

Shifts include Monday–Friday 9a-1p and Saturday 7a-11a and 11a-3p. Starting rate is $11.30/hr, with part-time staff receiving complimentary memberships and discounts on child care and most programs.

• Candidate must be able to provide service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes healthy member well-being and engagement
• Experience working with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with members
• Maintain working knowledge of wellness trends
• Maintain safe environment and functioning exercise equipment
• Take initiative to help members reach their goals
• Monitor Wellness Center as directed

• An out going, motivated, part-time health and wellness professional dedicated to helping health seekers of all ages reach their total well-being goals using fun and engaging strategies.

Available Shifts:

• Monday-Friday 9a-1p
• Saturday 7a-11a and 11a-3p

Starting Rate:

• $11.30/hr

Qualifications:

Candidate must be able to provide service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes healthy member well-being and engagement

• Background in exercise science or related field preferred, but willing to train.
