Job summary

Carolina Country Club Company is seeking a Wellness Attendant to provide outstanding member service in our Wellness Building. You will manage check-in, assist with merchandise sales, and support daily operations to ensure a welcoming, safe environment for members and their families.

You will work closely with the Wellness Director/Asst Director, maintain cleanliness, monitor facilities, and participate in training and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work with members and families.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-in process and POS transactions.
• Greet and welcome members entering the Wellness Building.
• Keep the coffee station stocked and tidy.
• Monitor cleanliness and safety of fitness areas.
• Assist Wellness Director/Asst Director with supplies and orders.
• Open/close procedures including doors and equipment checks.
• Address complaints and communicate with directors.

Job Summary:Wellness Attendants provide excellent customer service in a professional, respectful and friendly manner to club members and their families at all times. Wellness attendants are in charge of the check in process and ensuring members feel welcome. In addition, responsible to know, observe and enforce the Club’s safety & security policies and guidelines. Diligently maintain clean and safe facilitiesJob Functions include:Ensures proper opening and closing procedures are carried out (including turning on/off steam rooms, unlocking/locking doors, and making sure all equipment is placed back in the proper place).Handles the check in process, selling of merchandise and end of night closing on the Point of Sale, when applicable.Ensure all guests are accounted for and accurately entered into the check in system.Greets and welcomes members as they enter the Wellness Building.Ensures the coffee station is kept stocked and tidy at all times.Assists Wellness Director/Asst Director with supplies and orders according to business needs and club procedures.Monitors for possible waste or theft of supplies.Receives and handles complaints regarding the fitness department and communicates to the Director/Asst. Director.Informs and follows through with the housekeeping and engineering departments about the problems or deficiencies as they arise.Ensures that the fitness areas are clean and functioning properly, completing several walk throughs during the duration of the shift.Inspects locker areas and manages locker room facilities.Completes appropriate assignments made by the Wellness Director and Assistant Directors.Performs miscellaneous office responsibilities.Completes required computer based training courses through CLI within the required time frame.Uses Member Name Game and participates in contests as a learning tool.Is responsible for knowing CCC Employee Policies and working by the CCC Mission Statement.Working Conditions, Physical Functions and Abilities:The physical demands of work environment characteristic described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
