Job summary

Rogue Valley Manor in Medford, Oregon is seeking a Full-Time Wellness Assistant to support wellness programming, fitness activities, and special events that enhance residents' quality of life. You will help organize and lead classes, assist with assessments, orient residents to equipment and aquatic facilities, and promote safe participation while delivering friendly, outstanding service.

This role offers on-site facilities access and opportunities to collaborate with experienced wellness staff

Qualifications

• Experience in fitness, recreation, physical therapy, wellness, personal training, or a related field.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in recreation, physical fitness, physical education, personal training, or a related field preferred.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications; Lifeguard certification preferred.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment, exercise techniques, and safe activity practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills with a passion for helping older adults stay active and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing and leading fitness classes, wellness programs, and community events for residents.

We are seeking a Full-Time Wellness Assistant to support wellness programming, fitness activities, and special events that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with organizing and leading fitness classes, wellness programs, and community events for residents.
• Support resident fitness assessments and help coordinate individualized wellness activities under the direction of the Wellness Coordinator.

About You:
