Job summary

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is seeking a Wellbeing Navigator to join our HR team in Rockville, Maryland. You will help staff navigate healthcare, benefits, leave, accommodations, and other wellbeing needs, turning employee insights into practical support.

This role focuses on identifying wellbeing risks, developing resources and programs, and improving the overall employee experience through collaboration, data, and thoughtful policy guidance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in employee wellbeing, benefits, leave administration, or HR.
• Education or training in HR, public health, health education, nursing, or benefits.
• Certification related to health education, wellness, or benefits may help.

Responsibilities

• Health and Wellbeing: Help employees understand healthcare resources and accommodations.
• Leave and Disability Support: Guide leave processes and required documentation.
• Organizational Wellbeing: Identify factors influencing wellbeing and recommend changes.
• Wellbeing Insights and Programs: Develop and evaluate wellbeing resources and initiatives.
• Employee Experience and Connection: Translate needs into improved HR policies and programs.
• Contribute HR expertise to broader people practices.
