Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking a senior wellbeing consultant to shape and lead national practice initiatives. You will partner with benefits, analytics, communications, compliance, and vendor management teams to deliver scalable client solutions and thought leadership.

You will mentor colleagues, craft client-ready materials, and influence strategy across health and wellbeing programs while navigating a hybrid work model with periodic Chicago office collaboration and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required; advanced education or credentials in wellbeing, benefits, HR, public health are a plus.
• Life and Health license strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain within first three months.
• Minimum 5+ years of related experience with health and benefits and/or wellbeing.
• Minimum 3+ years of employer wellbeing consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic wellbeing consulting engagements for mid-size and large employer clients, including discovery, planning, recommendations, and ongoing advisory support.
• Design integrated wellbeing strategies aligning health, emotional wellbeing, financial wellbeing, caregiving, culture, communications, vendor solutions, and benefits.
• Translate client needs and market trends into guidance for HR, benefits, finance, leadership, and account teams.
• Guide vendor strategy with evaluations, RFPs, implementation planning, and ongoing accountability for client value.
• Use data to identify priorities, shape recommendations, and tell a clear story about program impact.
• Lead projects with organization, ownership, and readiness for client-facing interactions.
• Collaborate with teams to strengthen client relationships and growth opportunities.
• Develop scalable resources, frameworks, and client-facing tools for national practice delivery.
• Mentor colleagues and raise quality and strategic depth of consulting work.
