Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Well-being Specialist in Maryland to join the LifeWork Strategies Department. You will support vaccination and safety activities, coordinate wellness programs, and contribute to program design and evaluation.

You’ll analyze data, prepare reports, and engage participants through town halls and meetings. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in health promotion or related field, works full-time (40 hrs/week), with a typical 8:00am-5:00pm schedule, day

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Condition of Employment clinics and activities including Influenza Vaccinations and Fit Testing.
• Coordinate, develop, and facilitate health and wellness programs and events such as Lunch and Learns, workshops, and health observances.
• Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of the Condition Management programs.
• Design health education content including articles, presentations, and the online wellness portal.
• Aggregate, analyze and present client reports based on employee data and program participation analysis.
• Participate in town halls, team meetings, and leadership training to educate, motivate, and engage participants.

Education

As a Well-being Specialist, you will:

• Provide support to Adventist HealthCare Condition of Employment clinics and activities including but not limited to Influenza Vaccinations and Fit Testing.
• Coordinate, develop, and facilitate health and wellness programs and events, such as Lunch and Learns, workshops, well-being challenges, health observances and other events and programs.
• Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of the Condition Management programs.
• Design health education content including informative articles, presentations, and the online wellness portal.
• Aggregate, analyze and present client reports based on employee data and program participation analysis; utilize operational metrics to define, track and report on program activities, participation, and results.
• Participate in town halls, team meetings, and leadership training as appropriate to educate, motivate, and engage participants.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Kinesiology, or related field required

Pay Range

$53,316.90 - $74,643.66
