East Carolina University is seeking several Well-Being Ambassadors and Well-Being Coaches for on-campus, student hourly positions. The roles support health education, programming, and community wellness across ECU’s campuses.

Minimum GPA 2.0 is required; CPR/First Aid and NASPA certification readiness within 60 days, with 5–12 weekly hours. Flexible scheduling and on-campus engagement are emphasized to foster student well-being.

Qualifications

• GPA requirement: minimum 2.0.
• Completion of HLTH 1000 or other health-related courses.
• NASPA Certified Peer Educator training within 60 days of hire.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
• Blood-borne pathogens training within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work independently and as a team for 5–12 hours per week.

Responsabilités

• Exhibit understanding of ECU, Well-Being programs, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a world-class member experience within a comprehensive well-being program.
• Assist in content delivery and promotion of health programs on and off campus.
• Research, create, and copywrite well-being content for digital/print media.
• Create educational content and programs aligning with learn/discover/live indicators.
• Contribute ideas to introduce well-being to the campus community.
• Support events such as Fresh Check Day and other health initiatives.
• Maintain confidential records and adhere to ethics and risk guidelines.
