Job summary

East Carolina University is seeking several hourly Student Employment tutors in the ECU Department of Student Development. Tutors will support student-athletes with course-specific help, under the tutor coordinator's guidance, to clarify concepts and reinforce learning.

Selected tutors are top ECU students enrolled full-time, must maintain a 3.0+ GPA, and have 30+ credits. Minimum requirements include being an ECU student and ability to be a positive academic and personal role model.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in ECU coursework.
• Minimum of 30 completed college credits (including AP & dual enrollment credits).
• Must be an enrolled ECU student and able to serve as a role model.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to ECU student-athletes as assigned by the tutor coordinator.
• Clarify and supplement coursework to enhance student understanding.
