The incumbent is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, as well as participate in production and team meetings (both in person and remote). The environment is challenging; the employee will be exposed to seasonal temperature changes, overhead crane traffic, loud noise, and other job-related hazards. The work can be fast paced, and stressful, the candidate must be capable of regulating their emotions, and deescalating conflict. Additionally, the candidate must have the patience to educate weld trainees with little to no prior welding experience.
