Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing is seeking a Welder I for the first shift to assemble and weld parts, read blueprints, and perform setup tasks. You will weld sheet metal, operate tools, and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

The role offers a starting wage of $29.28 per hour with merit increases at 6 and 12 months, plus a comprehensive benefits package from day 1 and a sign-on bonus for eligible relocations or distances.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience.
• Ability to obtain a Welding certificate with Pierce Manufacturing.
• Associates Degree in Welding or Certified Welder preferred.
• Blueprint reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Weld sheet metal materials to specification.
• Set up parts for the welding process.
• Read blueprints and diagrams for accurate assembly.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Lift and maneuver parts up to 80 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
