Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, a subsidiary of Arcosa, Inc., seeks a 2nd shift Plant Welding Technician in Hager City, WI. You will support production welders, troubleshoot techniques, maintain equipment, and drive process improvements while ensuring welding approvals and training.

The role requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years in FCAW/SMAW/SAW, and familiarity with welding symbols, procedures, and BOMs. AWS credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years FCAW, SAW, SMAW welding experience requested.
• AWS CWI/CWE desired.
• Able to read welding symbols, procedures, drawings, and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Provide welding support to production welders, supervisors, and plant personnel.
• Troubleshoot welding technique and equipment issues.
• Maintain welder continuity and equipment calibration; log flux oven activity.
• Evaluate and implement welding process improvements to raise efficiency and quality.
• Conduct welding training on shop floor and classroom settings.
• Assist in qualifying welding procedure specifications.
