Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is seeking a Plant Welding Technician at our Tulsa, OK facility. You will provide welding support to production welders and supervisors, troubleshoot techniques and equipment, and drive process improvements to raise efficiency and quality.

You will train shop floor personnel and supervise welder training programs, while maintaining qualification records and ensuring procedure conformance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years FCAW, SAW, and SMAW welding experience.
• Able to read and comprehend welding symbols, welding procedure specifications, and drawings.
• Working knowledge of AWS D1.1 welding procedures and materials.

Responsabilités

• Provide welding support to production welders, supervisors, and plant personnel.
• Troubleshoot welding technique and equipment issues.
• Maintain welder continuity, equipment calibration, and logs.
• Evaluate and implement welding process improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Train welders on shop floor and classroom settings; assist in qualifying procedures.
• Oversee daily pole school operations and training records.
