Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years as Weld Technician in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and schematics.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, STICK welding and various materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills for welding issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, STICK) on diverse materials.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings and specs for weld requirements.
• Inspect welds for defects meeting quality standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and fixtures as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to improve processes.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE.
