• Operate and maintain welding equipment, including welders, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment and fixtures as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve product quality.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) or equivalent certification
• 3+ years experience as a Weld Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, weld symbols, and schematics
• Experience with various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, STICK) and materials
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving welding issues

Bonus Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification
• Experience with robotic welding systems
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
