Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Welding Technology or related field.
• AWS Certified Welder certification (e.g., D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6).
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing welding, preferably in a production environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding of welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) and their applications.
• Experience with weld inspection techniques and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick to fabricate and repair components.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.
• Inspect welded joints and structures for quality and adherence to standards and codes.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Troubleshoot welding issues and implement corrective actions to optimize weld quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop and improve welding processes and procedures.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
